About Final Touch Finishing

25 years of artisan craftsmanship in the Bay Area

Who We Are

Final Touch Finishing, Inc. is a team of dedicated wood finishing professionals with a shared passion for the craft. Founded by Michael Thornton & co-manged by Alberto Carreno & Rodrigo Ortiz, our crew brings together decades of combined experience in staining, lacquering, painting, and restoration — working side by side on every project we take on.

From the lead finisher to the prep team, every member of our crew is committed to the same standard: meticulous preparation, flawless application, and a finished result that exceeds your expectations. We take pride in our work and it shows in every surface we touch.

A proud member of the Redwood Empire Remodelers Association and BBB Accredited Business, our team holds itself to the highest standards of quality, integrity, and customer service on every job — large or small.

Our Mission

At Final Touch Finishing, we genuinely love what we do — and that passion comes through in every project we take on. We work closely with each client from the very first conversation all the way through to the final coat, making sure the process feels easy and the results feel exactly right.

With 25 years of hands-on experience behind us, we've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to get wood finishing right — the preparation, the technique, and the artistry. Those standards don't waver, whether we're working on a single cabinet or an entire home.

We serve homeowners and businesses throughout the Bay Area with the same approach every time: honest communication, careful work, and a genuine commitment to building lasting relationships with the people we work for.
